The Eligibility of Go Card Tertiary Concession
You can apply for tertiary concession fares if you meet all of the following criteria:
Live in Queensland
Are enrolled in and attending a course at a university, higher education provider, TAFE or other registered training organisation in Queensland
Full-time student enrolled on an internal basis: You will need to enrol in at least three units (subjects) for the following semester to be identified as a full-time student
Which Go Card should I purchase?
Tertiary students must purchase the blue Adult Card and then apply for tertiary concession online. The green Concession cards are for high school students. Do not get the wrong one!

How much is the Go Card?
The Adult Go Card is AU$10. You will get the AU$10 deposit refund if you no longer want to use the card.
Apply Go Card Concession Online
Step 1. Register your Go Card online (Register here)
Step 2. Click on the My Details tab after logging in, scroll down to the Concession part and click on the Apply button for Tertiary.
Step 3. Fill in your personal information and submit for review; it usually takes up to 14 days.
